Its Majlis Anugerah Kecemerlangan Akademik today, have to wake up damn early again.

Got a message from the driving center yesterday to meet up at McD at 7.40am... I was a bit panicky about the test since I never had studied properly :P
Okay, so this is the timeline: 2 weeks ago, I have my "textbook" and "exercise book" for the undang test. But, I didn't start studying by then because the test will be 2 weeks later. Still got a lot of time, right?

I regretted procrastinating.

The next week, I was busy preparing for Felda interview. I really spent a whole lot of time practicing on questions and reading up news articles about business and economics. Then on the same week, I received a call from Maybank that I passed my online assessment and also a message from UKM that I need to sit for an online assessment for Asasi PINTAR.
And there goes my time, all dedicated to scholarship interviews and online tests.

Anyway, I was kind nervous when I sat in front of the computer. Mom was really worried about me.... because I procrastinated too much. By the time I finished answering all the questions, I still have 20 minutes left, and since I have several questions that I'm not sure with the answers, I checked back. Switched the answers from B to A then back to B. That paranoid feeling kicked in and I was like, "WHAT IF I DIDN'T PASS?!"

Then, I recalled what my dad said about me when I asked him about my strength and weakness (it was for the Maybank interview). He said that I'm always brave at doing the wrong things, so I gotta make it into a strength of mine.

So, I pressed the "semak' button.

And, I got....

45/50.

Yay. I passed. Hooray. And then I sms-ed my entire family and I only received negative replies:
1. Dad : You cheated is it?
2. Mom : Eh, you can google the answer is it? After all, you are using the computer to take the test right? 
3. Bro : Impossible. You don't lie to me. 

Even my family members have no confidence in me about passing tests.
Hahahaha...

Hola. Okay, to get this Stage 2 of Maybank Scholarship, the first stage is to pass their online assesment. And only God knows how I passed the test. So I got the call on Friday afternoon and then they sent me an email that I have to be at Menara Maybank at 4pm. Well, actually its stated there you have to reach 30 minutes before anyway, so basically I have to be there by 3.30pm. 

Shooting range today! Too bad we don't have our phones with us or else we could had taken a lot of pics.. We gathered by 5.30am and had a not so nice breakfast. Then, it took around 50 minutes to reach the shooting range. Everyone slept in the bus, and by the time we reached there, no one was willing to wake up haha...
Firstly after we exited the bus, we were shouted from far to run for briefing. We were all wearing full loreng and its damn heavy to run, so most of us just WALK, instead of running, ignoring the commander whom was just shouting like a mad cow. haha. We got a hukuman of belakang pusings after that. After the briefing, we had to stay in our groups. I was in Group 15, the second last group to shoot. It was interesting to watch people shoot, seriously. Then, after each group, the jurulatih will announce the mark for each person.
The announcement goes like this, "Sasaran 1, 15 markah. Sasaran 2, 0 markah..."
Yes, quite a number of people got 0. But the highest mark was 89 o.O

When it was my turn, I was so nervous to hold the gun ^^ M16 weih, I mean, not a lot of people got the chance to hold and fire this gun :p We were all given ear plugs before its our turn to shoot for a very solid reason. We were all given 30 bullets to shoot, 10 trial and 20 bullets will be counted for marks. When the women beside me (she is a soldier), told me to start firing, I couldn't aim properly. Not because I couldn't see where is the bulls-eye but because the gun was heavy. And I was advised to aim lower a bit that the bullseye to HIT the bullseye because of the recoil. And I did. And damn, gunpowder stinks.

After they officially announced the results, I got.... 53/100~~ Yay. Slightly better than average hahahaha... Then at night, Eeyn had a secret meeting with all the 2 Balaks and 1 Balaks. I was like, damn girl, a secret meeting? Apparently she just wanna share with us her dissatisfaction with Azyan and she wanted us to be cautious with her too... She was really pissed with Azyan, she nearly cried as she expressed her thoughts. I'm not sure if she was just being kind to tell us or playing politics so that we would all turn our backs to Azyan... Hmm... either way, I can't turn my back to Azyan if I was given an order from her. She is the 3 Balak anyways, unless the order is a negative one, then I' ll stand up to her.
Just be a good leader and lead the company, I told Eeyn at the near end of the session. And then, Yanti and I stood up from our seats and left.

Woke up at 5am today just to charge my phone again. Buddhist class today was so boring and I was still feeling very very tired. I ended up sitting and sleeping at the same time, wow, I learnt a new skill today : Sleep and sit at the same time. Anyway, it was Lawatan Keluarga today and Bravo is on duty. Glad that I chose Pui Ing and Lee to duty with me as Pelayan Tetamu. heh. I chose Yanti as the coordinator, and she pretty enjoyed it... Until the part where Eika fainted in the dorm after her duty and was carried to the medic, Yanti took this incident really hard. She blamed herself because she felt bad for not accompanying her duty just now :/ It was a really teary session.

I woke up at 3am just to charge my phone and went back to sleep until 5 am. Anyway, today's activity is actually Khidmat Negara. We had to do activities which service back to the community. But I chose to go for blood donation instead, while most of the people chose to do service.
Well, we went to Port Dickson just for the perasmian of the events because it involved all the PLKN camps in both Melaka and Negeri Sembilan. Sece, Jasmynn, Ting and I were in the same bus because we wanted to donate blood.
After the perasmian and all, everyone went back to their respective bus and they were sent to different places to service :) Some goes to the police stations, some went to an abandon jail, some went to a primary schools, some help out at the park, etc. For those who volunteered to donate blood had to stay back though. We were given forms to filled, had our weight recorded and did a blood test to see whether we are eligible or not.
I failed the blood test due to low amount of hemoglobin and low blood pressure, which is pretty depressing. Sece, Jasmynn and Ting failed too, hahaha... So, we wasted our time waiting for the others to return from their service. We had our lunch there, it was pretty messing because we have to eat with our hands, and there are quite a number of other PLKN camps there so the place is kinda stuffy and packed.
By the time we went back to our camp, its already 4pm. We were so tired and we weren't allowed to return to our dorms because its tea time and we must eat. I called up Dad to tell him what happened for the day but I got a lecture from him instead, and an argument strike.
Ahh.. my bad again.

So I received an sms that I got shortlisted to take the test in Pusat PermataPINTAR in UKM the other day and the ujian saringan was this morning :) I got the first batch which is at 8am. I did a lot of Google-ing about this ujian though, so I guess its my turn to share my experience for those who are gonna sit this test as well in the future ;)

When I reached the computer lab, we were required to show our ICs to the person in charge as they will do the registration. As I was lining up, I counted that each computer lab have 20 computers, and there were around 3 computer labs, if not mistaken.

So, everyone in the lab I sat started at 8.30am... except me. I was so unlucky to choose a computer that was lag and "internet disabled". Haha. Ehem. Well. So the person in charge let me used the teacher's computer to do the test, hence I started the exam around 9am.

The test consist of 15 modules and you are required to finish everything within 150 minutes. Each modules has around 30 questions, so the trick is to do it fast and accurate. You are not allowed to go back to the previous page to change your answers once you press the "next" button, so be cautious!

Anyway, I don't recall properly all the topics of the modules by sequence but here is the rough procedure:

1. I forgot the title but its all about constructing 2D patterns :) This is really simple, just follow the picture given and construct it back :) No thinking required.

2. Patterns : This module gets harder as you go. Just follow the pattern and its simple logic until you reach almost the end. I have completely no idea what's the answer for the last 3 questions because it doesn't really make any sense to me. /.\ gah.

3. Numerical memory test : The question will show you a set of numbers for a short period of time (around 3 seconds) and you have to memorize it and retype it. You're not allowed to type it while the numbers are displayed. This one get harder as you go, until the end, its 9 different numbers in random sequence, so be prepared.

4. Similarities : You gotta think out of the box for this one. Example : The question goes like this "Red, Yellow". State the similarities. Its a subjective question so you can type like, "rainbow colors, traffic light, selangor flag, warm colors". Some of them I remembered were, 'frogs,snake' , 'rice, bread' , 'love, hatred'...

5. Categorizing : Just pictures and you have to select pictures of each rows that you think should belong to a category. You have to think a bit deep for this one.

6. Symbols matching : Example: " ) " means 9. and a whole lot other symbols haha... Then there will be a bunch of symbols asking you to type the meaning of each symbols based on what they gave. Easy.

7. Memory test! again. This time its harder because it involves alphabets. You have to arranged the numbers AND alphabets in ascending order after the question is displayed for a short period of time. Gotta think fast for this one.

8. Pictures again. This time, there is a LOT of pictures and they'll ask you to select which pictures are animals and fruits. A lot of concentration required for this one.

9. Thesaurus : Haha, they give you words and then asked you to explain the meaning. Example of words I recalled : impervious, pencil, historical artefak, eloquent, etc. This one, pandai2 lah.

10. Comprehension: Its ethical questions, really :) Like, what should you do when you found a phone on the floor? But there are also, Biology related questions. Eg, What is metabolism process? What is greenhouse effect. How rain is formed? What is the negative effect of ICT? HOTS questions, hahahaha....

11. Symbols matching! This one I'm actually a bit blur, because the questions give you 2 symbols and another set of different symbols. Its a true or false questions and you have to choose whether its true/false that the 2 symbols are SIMILAR to the set of symbols. This one, I can't help much sorry ><

12. Arithmetic :) Simple maths like 2+3=5. Until you reached like the last 5 questions of the module, the maths is a bit confusing. It involves speed and money. Its what you learnt in Form 4 Physics but, I was so blank at that time because I was rushing time :?

13. Spot the missing part! This one, haha, pandai2 lah :)

14. I think I'm missing something. General knowledge is involved too like, whats the distance between the moon and the earth, inventor of the phone.

15. Okay, I definitely forgotten something and I can't recall it. Sorry peeps!
Note: You are not allowed to bring anything inside the lab, like calculator, pens, pencils and papers.

So I really hope I got this asasi pintar tho haha...
Ah well :)

Had the most boring ceramah in my entire life. Since we are learning Module Kenegaraan now, the topic for the ceramah today is about perundangan and pilihanraya. Not that the topics are boring but the slideshow and the teachers presenting it are terrible. Small fonts squeezing the entire screen, how to read? ._.
The ceramah was held in the dewan makan and for the part after minum pagi, most of the people were literally knocked out - including me.

Anyway, Komanden stepped down today... Its kinda heartbreaking to see him exchange seats with the new komanden. I hope the new komanden isn't the berserk type hahaha.... Some girl were crying after they exchange seats... at least for the behind part of the dewan :P

I spent some time talking to Yanti and did a little bit of interview hehe.. Seems like she was terribly stressed out, not because of me, but because of her friends that are taking advantage of her.
Then at night, during Buddhist class, Pui Ing and I became 'mengantuk' buddies. We were leaning with each other and sleeping like nobody's business. Thank goodness its Friday tomorrow, 20+ more days. Can't wait to go home.

I taught Yanti a lot of stuffs today :)
But she seemed stressed out :(
Anyway, today's activities can be pretty much summarized as class only. In the morning, its more challenging. We had to design our own "country" with papers, cardboards, plastic bottles, plasticines, paints, and recyclable items. It was fun... for me, at least. I mean, its way better than just sitting down, discussing and do random acts. lol. Then, after minum pagi, we had to innovate a product with recyclable items too. And, I introduced Thermotech! After my group agreed, did the prototype and presented it in class, only 2 person asked questions, which is rather surprising. Because for other groups, its like a war of questioning here and there. Not sure if my product is just too advanced or Thermotech is just too simple that everyone can understand. We continued class in the afternoon and we had to do sketches. Our group did a sketch about Jimmy Choo, it was spontaneously hilarious.

Then, at night, we had Buddhist class. But after getting back to dewan makan, we had a rehearsal for the step down of komander... Not sure where and why is he going, but dayumm...

I just realized I hadn't finished updating my NS journal. Sorry, my bad. 

I thought I would be late for this thing because of the massive jam in Jalan Ampang. But I managed to reach by 8.25am, which is still okay :) 

Sece was rushing to the toilet this morning and she fell down. And she was one of the participants for Kembara halangan today. I asked Cikgu Atiqah whether I should just get a subsitute or just use the reserved participants. She told me, just use the reserved players.

I had no idea how wrong I was to listen to her.

Anyway, we had our second day of Module Kenegaraan in class. Surprisingly, I got into the same group with Ayyad, Ashraff, Sece, Shan Ting, Azyan, Aziee and Amirin. Class was boooooring. After class in the afternoon, we went to dewan makan for lunch as usual. Except this time, the teacher called my name.

I was so blur. Apparently there's an event for kenaikan pangkat. Yanti got 1 Balak, I got 2 Balak and Yan got 3 Balak. And the most deserving Isabel got 4 Balak :) I wasn't excited about this. I wasn't even smiling after we walked back to our seats. I felt heavier. But, at least I have the proper authority to lead the team now, though its gonna be stressful. Well, great power comes with great responsibilities. And I'm ready for that :)

At noon later we had Kembara Halangan competition and that's when everything went absolutely wrong. We got a penalty of 5 minutes for not being able to get a substitute. I took all the blame, in the end. Haih. Our total time was 12 mins plus, the fastest. But in the end, we got 3rd place. Alpha got first with 15 mins. Sigh.. Some mistakes can only make once. In the end, Bravo got 3rd place overall. Wira got 2nd place.
Ashraff was supportive too, he bought a bottle of 100 plus for Hui Wan and I to share :) I'm paying him back later.
Well, Haris belanja-ed the entire ex Malaysia Cute members burger again -.- ish. I'm getting fat, you know. Grrr.

What a tiring day. NS is like mental training instead of physical. We had our first day for Module Kenegaraan, pretty glad that Malaysia Cute are still in a team, except in a different class with other different groups. Anyway, the first activity is like library camp explore race but more boring and the venue is Kem Ulu Pari lol. We were running from one place to another, playing activities like true or false game, geography quiz, singing patriotic song, pentomin (i think) haha, etc. In the end, we got 3rd place? I think. Damn, I'm forgetful.
And also, I noticed that I'm losing my patience easier and easier now. -.-
Then, we had A Frame competition at 2pm. I was, very very very very mad at myself. I went soft and decided to change Farah to Ummu as the person on the frame (pengemudi) because she was begging to me and telling me that she didn't have the confidence to do it. Even though she was good at it during practice.
During the competition, Ummu fell from the frame. Twice. I never expect that to happen because we were totally fine during practice. We lose to Charlie and after we got out from the "battle ground", we cried. We ALL CRIED. I can see Bravo getting more cooperative now >< :P
Azyan was no where to be seen, and the more I consoled the members, the more I swallow the urge to cry. In the end, the tears fell. I hate it and until now, I'm still scolding myself for crying in front of my members. Haih.
It isn't about winning anymore.
Bravo wira were kind too, they cheered for us and consoled us. Astonishingly, Bravo was announced 2nd place overall.
LOL. The girls went berserk in the dorms later that day. Haha.
At night, we had taklimat about Pertandingan Kembara Halangan, which is just tomorrow :O We had a strategy planning session and all I hope now is that things would go smoothly tomorrow.

I seriously have no idea how today passed. In the morning, we got the permission to jog, which I did together with Pooja, Kylie and Yan. But we got caught later because apparently we were running at the wira's track.
oops.
Anyway, I ended up running like 1km. Yeah, I'm a potato in running. No doubt about that.
Kinda glad that I get to sweat today... The PT activities every morning is just stretching. how to sweat. Then, I held a gotong - royong in my dorm lol. Not everyone participated since some of them were having their afternoon nap. But that's just the minority :) Half an hour later, we all slept. And that's how we wasted our time today, and the weather today is crazy hot. Its like I'm sleeping in a pool of sweat, and when I woke up, my entire shirt was wet with sweat. Fuh.

Then, we wasted our time until bedtime. Hahaha, basically its just friend bonding time. lol

We had theory lessons about Colt M16 today. We were all separated to several different groups and thanks goodness, Bravo got dewan makan. Haha. Since most of us slept 1am plus, we were all dozing off when the corporal was explaining. I literally slept in front of the corporal, and Pui Ing was constantly waking me up. Anyway, with all the boring talking from the corporal (he is really well built but he talked so soft I can't really listen), the fun part was we get to hold the gun~!! No, I gotta stress this : HOLD the gun. Not shoot. Not pulling the trigger. No. Just touch and grab and aim.

Today is a damn sleepy day for me, like, I can sleep anytime anywhere. I took a quick 10 minutes nap while waiting for Bravo's turn to take our trays for lunch. At night, we had Buddhist class, and I dozed off. lol.

And Hui Wan just reminded me that tomorrow is Valentine's Day and the last day of Chinese New Year. And the best part? We're getting our phones back :D

It's actually 1am now as I'm writing this. All the dorms are still alive. Basically, today was rather tiring. Wel, actually, every day was tiring lol Anyway, we spent the entire morning in the dewan makan to prepare the stuffs and all. We continued in the afternoon, which I actually took the 2 hours to sleep at the back of the dewan makan together with Essya. Hui Wan was busy practicing her dance, sometimes purposely waking me up just to show me /.\
Then, things went on until night where the event is suppose to start. The competition was supposed to begin at 9am but because of some people, it started at 9.30pm. I wore Aziee's baju kurung tonight tho ^^ It was nice and black :D Then, I took a photo with Firdauz from Delta because he was wearing a black baju melayu too and it sort of matched :)


Actually everyone looked exceptionally pretty and nice tonight :)

Anyway, I sat at the jury panel along with Isabel, Zul and Farah. Each of us a representative from each company :)

To be honest, I have no idea what are the performances about and I don't even know what am I watching. ahhaha. And i gotta admit, I was a little bias with Bravo ><

AND BRAVO ENDED UP GETTING 2ND IN PLACE HAHAHAHAHA
And Satheesh got 2nd place for the solo performance too! ^^ He was seriously awesome when he did that sajak/pantun.

And at the end of everything, all the urus setia had to do a choir performance.
It was f***ing embarassing. I was front row cos' I'm short and I don't even know the lyrics.

I'm waiting till 12.30am to call the dorms to light off. Yan told me she was too tired and wanna sleep first... I hope she is or else...
Omg, I was so exhausted today. We had a ceramah from DBP today. For the entire morning, I was trying very hard not to fall asleep in front. The ceramah was about pantuns, sajak, syair and how to present/sing those stuffs. ._.
It was a terrible presentation for the first session, but for the second session, the lady taught us how to sing all the syair, sajak and seloka. It was funny and ridiculous. Worse part? They announced that this will be a competition among the companies. :O
Every company has to present 8 to 10 minutes and there will be a group that is not competing called "urus setia". There was 6 wirawati and 6 wira in each company that are required to join. At that time, I was thinking like, "hell no I'm not gonna sing all those weird stuffs."
I thought it would be like some sort of awesome thing.

In the end, I got chosen to decorate the stage AND also being the jury.
JURY?!
Yeah, jury. Exactly. The judges.
Well, at least I don't have to sing or dance. We spent the entire afternoon preparing the stuffs and trust me, it was crazy frustrating. Especially when the teachers couldn't come to a conclusion and making a decision. So, we wasted a lot of time on the design of the stage, just because we couldn't decide the title of the event. LOL.

At night, Jasmynn and Hui Wan planned about Satheesh's birthday. It's gonna be a blast and I helped to fold some origami cranes.
