The thing about Miss Zahra & the recent incident at Plaza LowYat

1:26 PM

The news have been spreading rapidly over social medias regarding the speech by a Malay lady by the name Zahra, whom she had spoke about having a law degree but is currently facing financial issues due to low salary.

And then last night, there was a horrible fight between a gang of Malays and the public. It all started with rumors and speculations until this morning, the police report was released online that it was theft by one of the boys during the day, which stimulated the fight at night.

Why did theft occur? Why did the speech by Zahra arise?

Magnify both of these issues and you can see that it was because of financial issues.

What Zahra had mentioned on stage had triggered the public to say that she was just whining. There are tonnes of other people out there in the country who are facing the same problem, however with a much terrible environment. It was all about standing for the people's right at first, but till the end of her speech, she only emphasized that Malays must fight for a better income and economy. The question is, what about the other races?

It's not just Malays who are suffering with such issues, Chinese and Indians are the same. We just don't have the chance to stand on stage and talk about it, we have no choice but to face the problem and do our best and limited resources to survive in this economy that was led by corruption. We all know that such negative activities will only lead to a downfall of the country, bit by bit we have lesser money in the system to circulate within.

Zooming out, the economy right now in Malaysia is actually facing a huge issue. The people are getting lower salaries, less business opportunities, too much frictional unemployment, too many universities but lack of education, inflation, etc. Despite having a good GDP rate according to reports, the people are suffering for various reasons. Plus, the recent issue of "racism" and the tension between races which wasn't suppose to exist at all in the first place are heightening. The last thing I would wished to happen is Incident 513.

It is inevitable that everything we do, economy, education, leisure activities, whatever it is, are all related to politics. You hated politics? Sorry, but this love is one sided, politics loved you. And they are gonna stick to you till your death. You don't have to like it back, but you have to do something so that that "love" will be bringing you benefits instead of detriments.

Why are we still shipping millions of cheap labor from the third world countries?
Why are we having issues of falling currency?
Why are we on the international news for having 7 companies that are built for selfish leaders?
Why are we NOT cooperating together to fight the issue of corruption?
Why are we NOT using our education to the very best?
